The Armoury
A blast from the past
The Armoury is a traditional south London pub steeped in history from the Napoleonic era. Its name and identity draws inspiration from an old local iron mill, that used to make the cannon and shot for Lord Nelsons HMS Victory. The new identity mixes the old and new with a contemporary bold logo referencing the iconic cannon juxtaposed with classic 18th century battle paintings. Unlike your average pub sign, a beautiful painting of the battle of Trafalgar was sourced and painstakingly retouched, then a 3D canon ball was smashed straight through the middle.

Will has the incredible ability to make design look effortless (and even easy). However, behind this charming gent is an incredibly hard-working, tenacious, intelligent, thoughtful, inspirational chap who is never short of ‘whizz-bang’. This, coupled with his kind-hearted manner make him an absolute joy to work with (as I did for several years).
